We offer all ground floor rooms including family suites, double, triple rooms and a spa suite. We are walking distance to a heated pool and licensed club leisure centre, as well as restaurants and shops. Company reps and seniors cards are welcome.

Things to see and do in Bendigo

Explore the art galleries, antique stores, museums and city sidewalk cafes. Cycle or walk along the Bendigo Bushland Trail with it's abundant wildlife and bright flower gardens or take time to relax in one of the city's beautiful parks. Rosalind Park is charming with its open air fernery, conservatory and cascade waterfall while the classically landscaped Chinese Gardens, housing the Chinese museum, is an experience of the original Imperial Gardens of Beijing.

Explore Australia's Gold History and even take a trip through an actual working gold mine. Visit the Discovery Science and Technology Centre and Australia's oldest working producer of ceramics, Bendigo Pottery. Take a ride on the vintage talking tram through the heart of Bendigo to the Chinese Joss House, an authentic Chinese temple built in the 1860's.

Discover the Bendigo wine region, home to approximately 30 wineries and famous for it's delicious red wines. The Bendigo Wine Festival in April and Bendigo Heritage Uncorked in October celebrate the region's fine food and wine. The Bendigo Easter Fair with it's famous parade featuring historic Chinese processional dragons is a popular annual event, as is the NEC Bendigo Cup in November. The Australian Sheep and Wool Show is held on the third or fourth weekend in July each year.

Finding us

The Bendigo Gateway Motel is just five kilometres northwest from the Bendigo CBD. Follow Eaglehawk Rd to Eaglehawk and you will find us on the west side of the Eaglehawk precinct. Eaglehawk Rd then turns into Loddon Valley Hwy which leads to Kerang and Swan Hill in the north.
